Here’s another ‘Courtesy Of:’ for you all, this time, from my little sister. Our family only got the Spotify Premium family pack last month, so we’ve been really getting into using it so freely, especially my sister and I. Here are her picks for you all!
Hey Yah – Outkast: Apparently this is still a popular tune with today’s 13 year olds? Though to be honest, I don’t know how it couldn’t be. It’s a classic.
Hakuna Matata – Lion King: I mean, it’s got a great message. So I’m all for it.
Circle Of Life – Lion King: Now I’m just convinced she’s been listening to a Disney playlist somewhere. Go her.
Despacito – Louis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee ft Justin Bieber: I too, love this song very much. If you don’t, you’re lying. But your hips don’t.
Strip That Down – Liam Payne: Good on her. A lot of people, especially a lot of One Direction fans aren’t too fond of this song, but I’m glad it’s getting its play time in my household at least.
Shape Of You – Ed Sheeran: She was pretty upset when she found out I was going for his concert with my friends. Playing him on replay is clearly a way of coping.
Symphony – Clean Bandit ft Zara Larsson: As a huge Zara fan, I love this song as well. It’s such a beautiful song and whenever it plays in the car we both try and sing it the best we can despite how ridiculously high the song is.
Tears – Clean Bandit ft Louisa Johnson: I was really surprised with this song. I hadn’t listened to much of Louisa that wasn’t on the radio and it’s a shame this one isn’t played very much because it’s great and her vocals are incredibly impressive.
Down – Miriam Hill: Before my sister showed me this song a couple of months ago, I had never heard of it in my life. And then suddenly, it was all over the radio.
Castle On The Hill – Ed Sheeran: This is another song that I’m very fond of. It’s one of the singles from his album and my sister’s clearly enjoying it as much as I am.
That’s her picks for you! Hope you enjoyed them, let me know if you’re loving any of them as much as my little sister.
