Hello friends, and welcome back to another playlist deep dive!!
Today we’re going to be getting a run down on the latest edition to my Spotify playlists, kaleidoscope, perfect for all your night-time, tunnel driving needs. It’s just the epitome of that one scene from Perks of Being A Wallflower. You know the one I’m talking about.
Let’s get into it.
Young Thing – The Curfew Hard Feelings/Loveless – Lorde Strawberries & Cigarettes – Troye Sivan waves – Miguel, Tame Impala Remix Fake It – JOY. Crying Over You – HONNE, BEKA Forever – Labrinth I Couldn’t Be More In Love – The 1975 Magnolia – Gang of Youths Cherry Hill – Russ Hold – Vera Blue Break from Toronto – PARTYNEXTDOOR
As per usual, there’s plenty more where that came from. Make sure you follow me on Spotify, HERE, and give the kaleidoscope playlist a like! It’ll be updated regularly so you’ll get all the late night drive songs that you could ever need!
Today’s post is one I haven’t done in a hot minute, but it’s a very specific playlist, a playlist of songs that are perfect for listening to by yourself on a late night drive.
I don’t know why, but the last few weeks I’ve found myself driving back home by myself, late at night, whether it’s coming home from a concert, after a particularly late netball game or after dropping a friend home. That too, winter’s well and truly here, meaning it’s getting darker by 5:30 every day.
A situation that would have used to make me pretty nervous, I now find it super relaxing, and it’s one of the most calming things I find myself doing. Trust me, it’s great. I sound like I’m straight out of a YA novel, but there’s this road that I’m constantly driving down, and it’s super long and open, a couple of turns here and there, but it’s so satisfying driving that road late at night.
So with all of that rambling, here’s a very specific playlist, one for driving home by yourself, late at night.
I really loved creating this playlist, maybe cos of how deep in this mood I am??? Late night drives are not celebrated enough outside of Tumblr. Therapeutic, I tell you. Let me know if you listen to any of these songs!
